I’m Kevin Davis I am a Jehovah’s witness and I do not attend the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses anymore I’m going to be baptized in a few months now I go to New beginnings Baptist Church in altavista Virginia I am anointed and I’m going to give 10% of my money each month to the church out of my blessings from God why did I leave the Jehovah’s witnesses because I am anointed and being anointed Jehovah’s witness is not encouraged at the Kingdom Hall I left to be blessed I have a life with Christ in the future government. Now .
You were baptized into what Kevin?were you or anyone baptized into the JW organization, no. Even the organization believes the baptism is into Christ congregation. So why now would you need to be baptized into another organization.
Since the resurrection of the faithful does not happen until the very end and the event of the Twinkling , the rulers and priests out of us all whom are annointed by the knowledge God has revealed through Jesus, has also has not happened.
You will find a dead end or limit at the end of your consideration of this new doctrine, even if the people are more friendly than at the hall.
If in fact you have found your insight out of the witness’s stop to realize that it must lead some where, pursue the next connected footstep of logic. I sympathize with the drama you or anyone of the few that actually find the UPward path that sets you free experience. The lose of connection in this realization that none of the provisions proclaiming Jesus’name, have hope is, literallyreality changing. Only if your feet have been set on the path of realizing the truth revealed by Christ through the eyes and ear given by our Father on adoption, with the token of active force , holy spirt, will you really no longer need to be orally taught.
Greater insight afforded by God is a blessing to be sure, but in your moment of freedom you stand alone as Jesus did.
Yes to be sure you are connected over time with many of the few that stand where you now stand if you are free. They just may not be in your neighborhood;)
Hi Jacqueline, I said We’d write a paper on Adoption as son’s of God. Here it is. It may seem long but take our word for it this is the short version. If you wish to move it somewher else it will not hurt our feelings. Thank you in advance and hope you are well.
There and back again
Preface;
I should point out right off that everything is about frame of mind, in the Bible, and in reality.
In this writing words that relate directly to God such as God, Savior, Lord and Father, Eternal Father, King, will always be capitalized. Those relating to Jesus such as, god, savior, lord, king, will not.
This is a consideration of our reality and the “Great Questions”, and their answers.
I’ve found in my efforts looking at what might constitute the answers to the Great questions, whether it’s a religious pursuit of science, or a religious pursuit of spirituality, that humanities attempts to pursue an answer or answers to the Great questions, have always amassed volumes of research and information. They however have never arrived at a conclusion that affords an overview of a logical nature. With no conclusion about what it’s all about, in other words an overview, there is no frame work that can fit all of the information into logical order.
An interesting aspect of all these attempts is that all have settled on a predetermined set of information called “doctrine”. By this doctrine control over others is meant to be possible. This control is thought to be necessary because persons less educated or not directed by the appointed heads, are thought to be less enlightened. These doctrines are used to form a group, denomination, or political structure.
Having finally concluded that humanities work has given no firm direction to answer the Great questions; I started looking for my own sense of direction. I quickly decided that science, while the prominent religious pursuit of this age, did not have the possibility of ever reaching a collective conclusion. A life time being what it is, short, I needed to look elsewhere. I started looking at the older spiritual attempts at pursuit.
In my search while young, and briefly in college, I decided If there was a path to enlightenment, that it had to be logically connected, one concept to the next, each connection having what I call the “ring of truth”. I still use this method today.
Now pursuits such as the Buddhist, Islamic, and Catholic positions, quickly lost logical connection, asking for “leaps of faith”. These leaps of faith translated to blind acceptance. These leaps are usually expressed as needed because of immaturity, or by the miss use of the term and concept of Belief/faith. Belief or faith can be established on sound or unsound information. Its not a mystic/ or a spiritual expression of power, to believe in things not understood.
The conclusion that these religious, or regular pursuits, actually lead nowhere, was easily ascertained using a common encyclopedia to establish each persuasions, reliance on the leap of faith or illogical concept. Christianity did however catch my eye as generally anchored in reality. The fact that it had historic physical connection to humanity and the general story line of logical concepts looked promising.
Now right up front I should point out that the encyclopedia also gave simple information about the “theory of the trinity” and its attempt to explain the three sources of what it calls divine energy. This energy was found in God, God’s son and there was the energy it’s self. Strangely most priests of ministers know that the Theory never involved a triad of persons and was never presented in the Bible. But because of early translations the term “he’ was never translated with it, a word not found in the original tongue. This has lead to the lay people as they are called to misunderstand the nature of the active force called Holy Spirit. Knowing this information allowed me to sort through the majority of Christian persuasions with out devoting much time to them. Now as in all religious pursuits of truth, they all have some truth so I’ve kept an eye out for these truths as they presented.
I know this will not be taken well by many, but I started and pursued truth though the organization of Jehovah’s Witness’s. It took about three years to absorb and sift through their information before I ran into the limit of their doctrine.
Within this period I used what I’ve come to call collecting bits and pieces. These bits and pieces were conceptual information that connected to other pieces with the logical ring of truth, but lost cohesion when an attempt to put it all together was exercised by the witness’s or myself for that matter. Finally I found the foundation piece in my third year, the hope of “The” resurrection. So from this piece of information we’ll start to build awareness of the “UPward path” and as I say ‘ an understanding of the nature of what is”.
I should mention that my partner in pursuit and wife is also my editor so if somewhere in all of this you start to think I’m an educated man, we can get rid of your first misconception with little cost to yourself. Between My wife and me we have pursued for the last 45 years.
I’ll close the preface with just a short statement about the over all reality we find ourselves in, when we find ourselves, which even Jesus had to achieve.
Adam and eve lived in a reality fully in sync with the frame of mind of God. They were part of God’s family, and as such they had their full inheritance. In Gods reality you receive your inheritance at birth. In their case this full inheritance was a full compliment of active force we call “holy spirit”. This force gives increased mental capacity, allowing those who hold it to fully understand God’s will and live “UP” to it. You will see me often draw attention to “UP”, God’s thoughts being higher than ours, UP, stand UP, make your mind UP, live UP to, ….
Now Adam and Eve messed UP, UP. Eve probably the stronger of the two was deceived and led to hold thoughts and conclusions out of sync with God. I say Eve probably was stronger because logically if you wanted a helper, you’d want a stronger helper. This is why Satan probably approached Eve first, doom Humanity in one fell stroke.
Before you object, Adam who had not become deceived, was well, just weak, he did not “stand UP”. Adam gave in to his desire and put Eve before God. Had he stood his ground, he would have saved Humanity. It’s also interesting to note after the fall, women took a roll under headship of men, rather than direction from. With this view of Eve as stronger it seems appropriate that their role in saving lives while regaining their stand with God, should besr a larger roll overall within humanity. The Bible describes woman’s roll in The Bible as “a large army of women” carrying on the life saving work.
So Adam and Eve lost the inheritance and it says were cast out of the Garden. The result is that any of humanity that wishes to return to the Garden must become part of God’s family first. Now Jesus in short achieved reconciliation with God for humanity. Humanity could again approach God.
This reconciliation means that humanity as a whole is forgiven the results of sin on their birth right, that being a stand of legally dead to God through our father Adam.
Humanity can now approach asking for forgiveness from our own sin and the adoption as children of God. In approaching God and being accepted into the adoption process, we cross from legally dead to legally alive in God’s eye. We now as adoptee can receive a “token” active force, a part of our inheritance. This token of inheritance will allow us to follow the “UPward” path.
The upward path eventually leads to the Twinkling, an event where we receive full adoption and our full complement of active force, Holy Spirit, our inheritance from our, now, Father, Yahweh. While we see now in a hazy out line as the Bible puts it, we will see clearly then, having received the full complement of spirit.
(1 Corinthians 13:12) 12 For at present we see in hazy outline by means of a metal mirror, but then it will be face to face. At present I know partially, but then I shall know accurately even as I am accurately known.
Once this powerful new force, our full inheritance, takes affect on our minds we can “see” Christ’s return in the “great cloud” of witness’s, that’s us who are present at the Twinkling, but who have hazy vision mentally. Now with a complete mental frame work in sync with Jesus and God our minds can really come to know Jesus, as he will now know us. We for the first time see that the awarenesses shared by Jesus lead us to a full enlightened state on the revealed path. In the full sense Jesus has saved the entire “inhabited earth”. This event will be the replanting of the Garden.
There is so much to digest, we as Satan did, roam about in earth, being formed from earth. We are the field under cultivation by God.
(1 Corinthians 3:9) . . .YOU people are God’s field under cultivation, God’s building.
Jesus came to save the entire INHABITED earth or those that cross from death to life legally. We’ll get into this in more detail as we go along walking with God as a grasp of the UPward path is described.
As we consider the connection with the one first resurrection, back to existence, Jesus, it gives us assurance that we as Jesus can be preserved “alive” in the grave.
We as Jesus are preserved alive, we exist, but do not have existence, which needs consciousness. We exist in death, and are returned to existence, as the same person even though having a different body, because Yahweh preserves out spirit/life force in a memorial tomb until the Twinkling. At the twinkling we are replanted as the Garden of God. This re-planting is possible because we have received in the Twinkling our full inheritance of Holy Spirit/ force and now are of one frame of mind with Jesus and our Father Yahweh, So, There and Back Again.
The, as in singular, first Resurrection
Resurrection; the process of standing before God to receive judgment or the return to existence.
Since we want to talk about “the” first Resurrection that returned a human to life, we must first talk about how that human came to be. This is the nature of the transfer of God’s Son into human, or as in this case, human in “slaves form”.
God’s Son’s transfer and birth on earth
Prior to Jesus’ birth on earth, angels had appeared on this planet in human form, apparently materializing suitable bodies for the occasion, then dematerializing them after completing such assignments. (Ge 19:1-3; Jg 6:20-22; 13:15-20) They thus remained spirit creatures, merely employing a physical body temporarily or were “incarnate”. This, however, was not the case with the coming of God’s Son to earth to become the man Jesus. John 1:14 says that “the Word became flesh and resided among us.” For that reason he could call himself “the Son of man.” (Joh 1:51; 3:14, 15) Some draw attention to the expression “resided [literally, “tented”] among us” and claim this shows Jesus was, not a true human, but an incarnation. However, the apostle Peter uses a similar expression about himself, and Peter was obviously not an incarnation.—2Pe 1:13, 14. Note that Jesus’ life force was transferred, not his memory’s of his past life in heaven. Angels taking form retained their mental makeup. It is not the thoughts we generate that determine our identity but the life force originally given. Obviously Jesus would face no test if he had eons of experience available to draw from. This made Jesus truly a corresponding sacrifice
The inspired Record says: “But the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way. During the time his mother Mary was promised in marriage to Joseph, she was found to be pregnant by holy spirit before they were united.” (Mt 1:18) Prior to this, Jehovah’s angelic messenger had informed the virgin girl Mary that she would ‘conceive in her womb’ as the result of God’s holy spirit coming upon her and His power overshadowing her. (Lu 1:30, 31, 34, 35) Since actual conception took place, it appears that Yahweh, God, caused an ovum, or egg cell, in Mary’s womb to become fertile, accomplishing this by the transferal of the life, life force, of his firstborn Son from the spirit realm to earth. (Ga 4:4) Only in this way could the child eventually born have retained identity as the same person who had resided in heaven as the Word, and only in this way could he have been an actual son of Mary and hence a genuine descendant of her forefathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and King David and legitimate heir of the divine promises made to them. (Ge 22:15-18; 26:24; 28:10-14; 49:10; 2Sa 7:8, 11-16; Lu 3:23-34 Pay particular attention to this statement. It is likely, therefore, that the child born resembled its Jewish mother, who was in slaves form. We will discuss later that we can determine that a perfect human was much larger than those in slaves form.
Mary was a descendant of the sinner Adam, hence herself imperfect and sinful. The question therefore is raised as to how Jesus, Mary’s “firstborn” (Lu 2:7), could be perfect and free from sin in his physical organism. While modern geneticists have learned much about laws of heredity and about dominant and recessive characteristics, they have had no experience in learning the results of uniting perfection with imperfection, as was the case with Jesus’ conception. We can however through the Bible get a glimpse, through the description of the Nehalem. Angels taking perfect form bred with our best women it says. Although these women were in slaves form it still produced “giants” to our eyes. We can imagine if father and mother had been perfect how much larger perfect mankind would be.
From the results revealed in the Bible, it would appear that the perfect male life-force (causing the conception) canceled out any imperfection existent in Mary’s ovum, thereby producing a genetic pattern (and embryonic development) that was perfect from its start, and the appropriate , slaves form. Also as mentioned before, Jesus received from his Father his inheritance of a complete compliment of Holy Spirit at birth, which allowed freedom from sin, or imperfection at birth. Since it was God’s Holy Spirit that made the birth possible, Jesus owed his human life to his heavenly Father, not to any man, such as his adoptive father Joseph. (Mt 2:13-15; Lu 3:23) As Hebrews 10:5 states, Yahweh, God ‘prepared a body for him,’ and Jesus, from conception onward, was truly “undefiled, separated from the sinners.”—Heb 7:26; compare Joh 8:46; 1Pe 2:21, 22.
It’s helpful at this point to bring out that while born separate from the results of our birth right, under Adam, because Jesus’ Father was God, Jesus’ adoption by Joseph meant that Jesus’ position in relation to God became legally dead. By law the child’s stand before God comes from the father. This meant that Jesus would as all humans die of natural causes if he did not present himself to do Gods will, when he reached adulthood. Being perfect meant he would stand against God as Adam did, if he did not present himself. At death. Jesus having presented himself to do God’s will, Jesus as a perfect Human, had to actually, and literally, give UP his living force, and end his existence. But remember he was still alive in the Grave.
Now back to Resurrection. Remember this statement.
Only in this way could the child eventually born have retained identity as the same person who had resided in heaven as the Word, and only in this way could he have been an actual son of Mary and hence a genuine descendant of her forefathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and King David and legitimate heir of the divine promises made to them. (Ge 22:15-18; 26:24; 28:10-14; 49:10; 2Sa 7:8, 11-16; Lu 3:23-34
If we realize that it’s the life force that constitutes identity, or simply put, is who you are. Then we can see that as Jesus or ourselves enter into the grave this life force will be preserved in death. This is clear as Jesus gives over his spirit, entrusts his spirit to God, when entering the condition of death.
(Luke 23:45-46) . . .. 46 And Jesus called with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” When he had said this, he expired.
Here is a consideration of this process from beginning to the end result. I fear that with hundreds if not thousands of years of misunderstanding of these basic processes the consideration demands a rather long expression to clear UP these ideas.
TRANSFER
We believe that many will pursue a relationship with God having an inaccurate foundation awareness of “The” resurrection, and still do it honestly, these believers not realizing or having access to a true understanding of the process.
This is the case with the Jehovah’s Witness’s and other divisions from Christ congregation. These denominations none the less serve as provisions declaring Jesus, name.
The present truth of the witness’s expressing the idea that we cease to exist at death rather than cease to have existence, is the difference between an accurate understanding and a misunderstanding of the hope. I refer to the witness’s as I’m most familiar with their explanation.
A consideration of the nature of the only begotten son becoming a man is the way to set this conceptual foundation information straight. It is interesting that the organization describes the process accurately when it explains the transfer of the only begotten son’s life force to earth to become a man, then loses track of his basic nature when he enters the grave. We consider this early in the paper because this explanation of transfer and its direct application to the hope of a resurrection is the only way the Bible can be pursued with any chance of understanding in a logical, connected path to draw closer to Yahweh. This realization of “THE” first resurrection back to life is the threshold to take UP the UPward path, and our hope, our only hope. In this realization and it’s hope we stand on the threshold to ask for adoption as children of God. Having this realization and asking for adoption is the only way to receive the token of adoption, the active force called Holy Spirit. Using this active force allows us to begin the pursuit of the UPward path.
(1 John 5:20) . . .But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one.. . .
We have developed a simple picture example of the transfer. The picture of an angel and the image of Jesus are used only because these images have long been used by the world, much like the use of Yahweh as the preferred pronunciation of God’s name.
In the first figure on the left you have the angel, the only begotten son. The lower image on the right is the man Jesus, and the process of transfer is represented by the space between the two images where the life force of Jesus is preserved by Yahweh. Yahweh is present overhead in all three spaces.
1) The God’s son empties his SELF, his essence, as far as a being can be broken down. This essence, life force/identity, is emptied out of the angel’s body into the keeping of Yahweh, meaning his Son loses consciousness. A body with its mind is necessary to be conscious. At this point in the transfer God’s Son exists in Yahweh’s keeping, or is preserved alive, but does not have existence, which requires awareness of one’s self.
2) Yahweh takes this angel’s life force/identity and transfers it into the body formed in the womb of Mary. Thus the identity is maintained as it logically must be (“Only in this way”), as the organization rightly states. It might also be pointed out here that Yahweh would have to apply a full complement of his holy spirit, full inheritance, so that the one born would be perfect, and through this force be able to carry out the law having the appropriate mental capacity and self control necessary to do so.
*** it-2 p. 56 Jesus Christ ***( Insight on the Scriptures, volume 2, page 56 Jesus Christ)
“Only in this way could the child eventually born have retained identity as the same person who had resided in heaven as the Word (Michael), and only in this way could he have been an actual son of Mary and hence a genuine descendant of her forefathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and King David and legitimate heir of the divine promises made to them.”
(Revelation 4:11) 11 “You are worthy, Yahweh, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.”
We draw attention to this scripture because of its relevance to the point that when something, or in this case a being, is willed to be by Yahweh, it is; the being exists to Yahweh. For an animate creation this scripture means that when it is created it is an intellectual limitation (Yahweh believes it is) on a quantity of his energy and is separated in identity when Yahweh wills it, not when it begins to think, or have existence.
We understand that in the case of God’s son and Jesus, while they are the same person in identity, the distinction between the two identities was one of condition, the nature of existence, and the form in which it was experienced. One is of a spiritual body and its existence, the other of a physical body and its existence. Jesus had to be exactly as his brothers in all respects in order to answer the part of the question that Satan raised, “Can any of mankind stand?” In this way, although being the same in identity as God’s son, Jesus could represent and have physical connection with mankind. As a man, he represents the best example to review in almost every consideration related to us.
(Hebrews 2:14-18) . . .Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil; 15 and [that] he might emancipate all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives. 16 For he is really not assisting angels at all, but he is assisting Abraham’s seed [we talk later about who Abraham’s offspring really are by frame of mind].
(Galatians 3:16) 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It says, not: “And to seeds,” as in the case of many such, but as in the case of one: “And to your seed,” who is Christ.
(Galatians 3:26-29) 26 YOU are all, in fact, sons of God through YOUR faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of YOU who were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for YOU are all one [person] in union with Christ Jesus. 29 Moreover, if YOU belong to Christ, YOU are really Abraham’s seed, heirs with reference to a promise.
17 Consequently he was obliged to become like his “brothers” in all respects, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, in order to offer propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself has suffered when being put to the test, he is able to come to the aid of those who are being put to the test.
Again I’ll quote the organizations present truth as an aid to understanding as far as it is useful in doing so.
It is printed present truth by the organization that the first born God’s son and Jesus both had a personal spirit ( ) on which their identity depended.
“Insight on the Scriptures”, Vol. 2, page 56 under the heading, “His Birth on Earth” gives us a clear and logical
breakdown of God’s son, and the man Jesus. Note the use of the term “incarnation”, the embodiment of a deity or spirit in some earthly form. More simply stated, to retain or receive heavenly awareness from a previous heavenly existence while in physical form. This was not the case with Jesus at any time, that he became more than a man while on earth, until his resurrection, return to existence on earth.
*** it-2 p. 56 Jesus Christ ***
“His Birth on Earth. Prior to Jesus’ birth on earth, angels had appeared on this planet in human form, apparently materializing suitable bodies for the occasion, then dematerializing them after completing such assignments. (Ge 19:1-3; Jg 6:20-22; 13:15-20) They thus remained spirit creatures, merely employing a physical body temporarily. This, however, was not the case with the coming of God’s Son to earth to become the man Jesus. John 1:14 says that “the Word became flesh and resided among us.” For that reason he could call himself “the Son of man.” (Joh 1:51; 3:14, 15) Some draw attention to the expression “resided [literally, “tented”] among us” and claim this shows Jesus was, not a
True human, but an incarnation. However, the apostle Peter uses a similar expression about himself, and Peter was obviously not an incarnation.—2Pe 1:13, 14.
The inspired Record says: “But the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way. During the time his mother Mary was promised in marriage to Joseph, she was found to be pregnant by Holy Spirit before they were united.” (Mt 1:18) Prior to this, Yahweh’s angelic messenger had informed the virgin girl Mary that she would ‘conceive in her womb’ as the result of God’s Holy Spirit coming upon her and His power overshadowing her. (Lu 1:30, 31, 34, 35) Since actual conception took place, it appears that Yahweh God caused an ovum, or egg cell (SOURCE OF BODY), in Mary’s womb to become fertile, accomplishing this by the transfer of the life ( added:PERSONAL LIFE FORCE/bases of identity, what was tented)( ) of his firstborn Son from the spirit realm to earth.
This is the simple breakdown of the event as the Bible, and “Insight on the Scriptures” explains it. In the tradition expressed at Acts 9:22 “…he proved logically that this is the Christ”, we will also prove this. As already explained, Jesus was not incarnate, meaning that he did not retain his heaven developed mental makeup or thoughts. It says that he emptied himself (Philippians 2:5-8), or gave up his spiritual body with its mind’s ability to hold his mental makeup/thoughts. Yahweh then transferred his spirit/life force
( ), the part designating being, the beginning intellectual limit on a quantity of energy–Jesus’ spirit — the smallest part remaining of one’s identity or being, into the new body/ovum with its potential mind in Mary’s womb. Again, the main point is that the life force was “tented” within the body, as opposed to the being taking form which clearly involves bringing with that being his mental makeup/thoughts, constituting it incarnate. Yahweh was present during the transfer, but no part of Yahweh’s thoughts memory, constituted identity for the beings, God’s Son or Jesus. The use of the term “tented” now having a logical understanding to go with it, would make the connection to the rest of mankind and the scripture, Rev 21: 3 easier to understand.
(Revelation 21:3) . . .“Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. . .
*** it-2 p. 56 Jesus Christ ***
Some draw attention to the expression “resided [literally, “tented”] among us” and claim this shows Jesus was, not a True human, but an incarnation. However, the apostle Peter uses a similar expression about himself, and Peter was obviously not an incarnation.—2Pe 1:13, 14.
(Luke 23:46) . . .And Jesus called with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” When he had said this, he expired. . .
We also see that Stephen believed he would be preserved in death by Yahweh through Jesus.
(Acts 7:59-60) . . .And they went on casting stones at Stephen as he made appeal and said: “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then, bending his knees, he cried out with a strong voice: “Yahweh, do not charge this sin against them.” And after saying this he fell asleep [in death].
(Psalm 31:superscription-5) To the director. A melody of David. 31 In you, O Yahweh, have I taken refuge. O may I never be ashamed. In your righteousness provide escape for me. 2 Incline to me your ear. Deliver me speedily. Become for me a rocky stronghold, A house of strongholds to save me. 3 For you are my crag and my stronghold; And for the sake of your name you will lead me and conduct me. 4 You will bring me out of the net that they have hidden for me, For you are my fortress. 5 Into your hand I entrust my spirit. You have redeemed me, O Yahweh the God of truth.
The connection between Jesus as a man and Steven, along with the rest of mankind is an easy one to see from here.
It is reasonable to say that from Yahweh’s thoughts/memory, as we will see later, it would be possible to re-introduce the thoughts exactly to an individual body, spiritual or physical. This would be possible only if it has its identity intact, through a process that keeps its life force preserved in transfer or in the grave. This allows for the ransom being applied to the original being.
This also means that the resurrection can be applied to the original being, resulting in return to existence from the memorial tomb, or judgment without regaining consciousness’ to be left in the grave, given over to Jesus’ keeping awaiting the final conclusion and destruction in the second death, the lake of fire.
For those reading that may be or were Jehovah’s witness’s I’ll include this.
This is a good place to point out that again the organization’s statement that “the heavens were opened up to Jesus at baptism” meaning that he regained his pre-earthly awareness is not a possibility. As stated in “Insight on the Scriptures” earlier, this would mean that he would then be incarnate and not a corresponding ransom.
(1 Timothy 2:5-6) . . .For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—
Within the asking of the question “Can any of mankind, perfect or otherwise, stand?” the possibilities would have to embrace all abilities and advantages given to the first perfect human, Adam. Adam was taught directly by Yahweh’s agents and had access to information from heaven directly. Thus in this case, the scriptures are referring to the fact that once Jesus found himself and proceeded to the point of baptism, he also could have the same advantage. Having gained a stand as a “son of God” note that son is not capitalized because this was a legal description of Joseph’s son Legally, he could be taught directly from heaven. If he had chosen not to offer himself in the role of Christ, contact with God on this level would not have been offered.
(Psalm 2:7) . . .Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah; He has said to me: “You are my son; I, today, I have become your father.
Of course Jesus had been Yahweh’s Son in heaven and his Son on Earth, but once adopted by Joseph he was Joseph’s son. So “I, today, I have become your Father” is a reference to Jesus crossing from legally dead to legally alive.
Now that we’ve considered the nature of the transfer and the fact that Jesus was in “slaves form” I’ll go off topic a bit as promised earlier, bear with me.
It could be pointed out here the organization’s and Science’s references to scientific studies that show that with the right environment, a plentiful food source and absence of disease and stress, the human form would increase in size, could be used to see why Jesus was described as disfigured, being in “slaves form”.
We could also add a consideration of the Neph′i•lim who were products of the combination of perfect and imperfect bodies, with the resulting larger person, a giant to our eyes. This would seem to make it obvious that in Isaiah 52:14 where it speaks of the disfigurement as respects Jesus’ appearance, that it must be connected to the statement in Philippians 2:5-8 of Jesus’ physical condition as “having taken slave’s form”. Not having a perfect environment, our already considered scientific position and logic would tell us that slave’s form means that although perfect, he took a size and shape that fit into his surroundings, getting this from
his mother who was in slave’s form”. This means that the form is caused by the sin and the resulting stress and sickness in the first place. Jesus had the full complement of the spirit but had to fulfill Yahweh’s will. Therefore, as an angel takes on form to come to earth of his chosing, Jesus was given a form appropriate to the task at hand and understood this.
Returning to the discussion of identity, identity based on life force (the only way) will also be considered relating to death.
In the next section we consider Jesus’ death, and how his identity was maintained so that he could be returned to heaven as “the same individual” that was transferred to earth, and thus the nature of death and resurrection for us, since Jesus was a man.
DEATH
FROM THE ONSET WE WANT TO STATE ABSOLUTELY THAT
WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT MAN HAS AN IMMORTAL SOUL, MEANING ONE THAT CAN NOT BE DESTROYED.
HE HAS ONE THAT CAN BE CONSIDERED IMMORTAL, IN THE SENSE THAT IT DOSE NOT EXPERIENCE NATURAL DEATH IN ITS EXISTANCE.
I bring the following out again, to remind those readers who are part of the organization that they also are locked in by doctrine.
*** W05 5/1 pp. 9-10 par. 8 the Resurrection—A Teaching That Affects You ***
“Yes, so fundamental is the teaching of the resurrection that the Christian faith is in vain if the resurrection is not accepted as a reality. Indeed, the correct understanding of the resurrection sets true Christians apart from the false.
*** w09 11/1 p. 4 Myth 1: The Soul Is Immortal ***
FACT:
At death a person ceases to exist
One would reasonably expect Jesus’ death and resurrection, return to existence from the memorial tomb, to be the reverse of his transfer to earth, in that “the only way” to make it the same individual would be to have identity retained throughout the process.
The obvious questions arise: What inherits? What constitutes identity? (“The only way”) if you cease to exist as is the present truth of the organization.
Death B depicts what we consider a logical example and conclusion, based on the scriptures, an explanation of the transfer of God’s Son to earth to become Jesus and his resurrection and return then to heaven. We believe that this shows “the only way” it could be done to achieve identity retained. *** it-2 p. 56 Jesus Christ ***.
We remind those with in the organization of Jehovah’s witness’s reading this, it is important to keep track of the fact that the basis of the present truth is not that the person enters into a condition, i.e., lack of consciousness or sleep like state, but that the person actually becomes nonexistent — ceases to exist — is nothing.
Yes, we acknowledge that the organization does try to use the right terms of condition, after stating that there is nothing to describe, but you can see that this is not logical and is very confusing. We will show, through a logical trail of thought in the scriptures, that it is not necessary for it to be confusing if it is presented in “the only way”. We state here that our identity constituted as part of Yahweh’s memory would not be possible logically.
We cannot over state the importance of the basic hope, identity retained in death and the hope of continued existence through the resurrection process, and its connection with all other trains of thought in the scriptures. Having said this we continue with the consideration of death.
Death B,“the only way” to present death and resurrection, with identity retained, according to the scriptures and supported by the organization’s explanation of Transfer. We show it in picture form below.
DEATH B
Death B, as we propose that the scriptures present it, is the reverse of the transfer but with identity also being retained while in the memorial tomb, as in the transfer. In this example we have Jesus as a perfect man. He has a body with its mind, thus he is able to form thoughts and has existence, and his spirit/life force
( ) is “tented” within this body. At the end of his existence, he entrusts his spirit/life force (same as identity) to Yahweh, to be safeguarded or preserved alive during the condition called death. To have life you do not have to have consciousness, as brought out in Mark 12:26-27.
(Mark 12:26-27) . . .But concerning the dead, that they are raised up, did YOU not read in the book of Moses, in the account about the thornbush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob’? 27 He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living. . . .
Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary defines exist: to be; and existence: to be aware of or conscious that you are.
The point here is that these individuals are in the memorial tombs, but still have life; they endure by being in memorial tombs, a place of remembrance and a place that those known by Yahweh are considered by him to be alive legally, exist, but they do not have existence.
(Hebrews 10:39) . . .Now we are not the sort that shrink back to destruction, but the sort that have faith to the preserving alive of the soul. . .
For Jesus this condition, death, is achieved by the placing of his life force in a place called the grave/memorial tomb after he loses consciousness and dies. He enters into or takes on the condition of death, losing or giving up the ability to sustain existence.
We see that Jesus had existence, because he was aware of whom he was, until death. At death, he lost existence because he lost or gave up consciousness, and the ability to sustain existence, but he did exist in the state or condition of death, because his life force /spirit/identity was entrusted to Yahweh’s keeping in the memorial tomb, or place of remembrance.
Identity being dependent on life force, as in the transfer (“the only way”), logically makes necessary the reverse process for return to existence on earth under the promise of a resurrection to earth through Abraham. Then as God’s Son and the inheritance of kingship, Jesus, was called to ascend to heaven. Jesus thus died as the same person that had resided in heaven and was resurrected as the same person, returning to heaven as the same only begotten son. He retained identity throughout the condition of death, as it was maintained in transfer. The process that was used by Yahweh to transfer God’s Son’s life force was then carried through the condition of death, again by Yahweh, so that the individual that had existence as the being in heaven as God’s Son, would again be the same person when returning to heavenly existence, through resurrection to earth and ascension to heaven, after the grave.
Being the same person, with identity retained throughout the process of resurrection can only be explained through REGENERATION. At return to life humans are given a new body created by God, which then comes to life with our life force placed in it by God. Then God places the generated thoughts from our previous life into the mind of this new body, or at least the appropriate thoughts.
You should note in the New World Translation of the scriptures that the organization’s translators chose to use re-creation instead of regeneration, thinking it a better choice given the understanding they had at the time, or perhaps as you begin to perceive, misunderstanding.
We know that this individual, again in heaven, gained awareness from his existence on earth as the man Jesus, and would be given these thoughts along with the ones generated originally in heaven. Although through this process the thoughts were given to this individual from Yahweh’s memories (Yahweh’s mind), and this will be the case for us, note that this means that at no time did Yahweh share or have within himself more than one identity but only memories.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) 5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. (by mankind)
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) 10 All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
Both scriptures talk about conditions related to the persons in the condition of death; they, them, you, your, all relate to someone and the conditions they are in. The number of references to condition and placement of individuals in the grave (including Christ) are numerous, as most of you know.
So “There and back again” is much more easily understood as a conceptual train of thought. Also the events of transfer, death, the resurrection process, and the Twinkling can be followed easily.
Adoption as children of God
There have been several land mark minds after the fall from the Garden. We’ll skip going over them all, but just start with Abraham. Abraham was a singular mind so much so that God promised that Abraham’s offspring would inherit the earth.
It’s very important to realize that only through Abraham’s true spiritual offspring, those under Yahweh’s influence, could you be one of God’s people. Only those of the right frame of mind and physically connected to Abraham, members of the kingdom of God could be recipients of the promises made to Abraham. From among these “true Jew’s” Mary the mother of Christ was chosen.
I know that’s a lot to take in, but it’s easy to lose the connection of Abrahams offspring, to son’s of Israel, and the True Jew’s, the world has lost or I guess never had this realization. Note that according to Jesus’ own words not all that spring physically from Abraham are really Abraham’s offspring, seed, according to the promises.
(John 8:46-47) . . .If I speak truth, why is it YOU do not believe me? 47 He that is from God listens to the sayings of God. This is why YOU do not listen, because YOU are not from God.”
(Romans 9:6-8) . . .However, it is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all who [spring] from Israel are really “Israel.” 7 Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children, but: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” 8 That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of God, but the children by the promise are counted as the seed.
(Revelation 2:8-9) . . .And to the angel of the congregation in Smyr′na write: These are the things that he says, ‘the First and the Last,’ who became dead and came to life [again], 9 ‘I know your tribulation and poverty—but you are rich—and the blasphemy by those who say they themselves are Jews, and yet they are not but are a synagogue of Satan.
Paul of course spoke of his brothers in the flesh as Jew’s. Paul could not tell who really was a Jew by frame of mind and who were just saying they were Jews. Those that followed Jesus were the true heirs of the promises through Jesus and thus the only true Jew’s. Once these became part of the congregation of Christ they were no longer called Jews.
I’ll include this section of the “Insight on the Scriptures” a Jehovah’s Witness volume to give direction if you wish to look into it further It’s well written.
*** it-1 p. 32 Abraham ***
Historicity. Jesus and his disciples referred to Abraham more than 70 times in their conversations and writings. In his illustration of the rich man and Lazarus, Jesus referred to Abraham in a symbolic sense. (Lu 16:19-31) When his opponents boasted that they were the offspring of Abraham, Jesus was quick to point out their hypocrisy, saying: “If you are Abraham’s children, do the works of Abraham.” (Joh 8:31-58; Mt 3:9, 10) No, as the apostle Paul said, it is not fleshly descent that counts, but, rather, faith like that of Abraham that enables one to be declared righteous. (Ro 9:6-8; 4:1-12) Paul also identified the true seed of Abraham as Christ, along with those who belong to Christ as “heirs with reference to a promise.” (Ga 3:16, 29) He also speaks of Abraham’s kindness and hospitality to strangers, and in his long list in Hebrews chapter 11 of illustrious witnesses of Jehovah, Paul does not overlook Abraham. It is Paul who points out that Abraham’s two women, Sarah and Hagar, figured in a symbolic drama that involved Jehovah’s two covenants. (Ga 4:22-31; Heb 11:8) The Bible writer James adds that Abraham backed up his faith by righteous works and, therefore, was known as “Jehovah’s friend.”—Jas 2:21-23
Jesus inherited the earth through the promises made to Abraham becoming king and was resurrected to earth through those promises. Then through a covenant with his Father, God, he inherited rulership over both heaven and Earth.
It’s interesting once one cross’s from death to life through Jesus there is no longer Jew or any other division from Christ. This means that the true Jew left to join Jesus, so there are no longer Jew’s in the Nation of Israel.
Yes we know this is a long standing misconception that both the offspring of Abraham and the offspring of Israel, the man, are determined by physical birth into the nation of Israel.
It is understood by the world and the nation of Israel that this physical birth means you are Jewish, this is not the case.
Being a child of God one of God’s people is a matter of frame of mind.
The promises no longer belong to the people left in the nation of Israel.
Yes by means of him. Therefore also through him is the “Amen” [said] to God for glory through us. 21 But he who guarantees that YOU and we belong to Christ and he who has anointed us is God. 22 He has also put his seal upon us and has given us the token of what is to come, that is, the spirit, in our hearts.(adoption as children of God)
(Galatians 3:16-22) 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. It says, not: “And to seeds,” as in the case of many such, but as in the case of one: “And to your seed,” who is Christ. 17 Further, I say this: As to the covenant previously validated by God, the Law that has come into being four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate it, so as to abolish the promise. 18 For if the inheritance is due to law, it is no longer due to promise; whereas God has kindly given it to Abraham through a promise. 19 Why, then, the Law? It was added to make transgressions manifest, until the seed should arrive to whom the promise had been made; and it was transmitted through angels by the hand of a mediator. 20 Now there is no mediator where only one person is concerned, but God is only one. 21 Is the Law, therefore, against the promises of God? May that never happen! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, righteousness would actually have been by means of law. 22 But the Scripture delivered up all things together to the custody of sin, that the promise resulting from faith toward Jesus Christ might be given to those exercising faith.
As always your position with God as one of God’s people depends on your frame of mind and heart condition. Heart condition means that you have a sincere desire to hear the truth and take a stand on the truth as your own.
The process of adoption
I’ll include again these scriptures, to help us keep in mind that the true followers, God’s people are now Jesus’ footstep followers.
(Romans 9:1-9) 9 I am telling the truth in Christ; I am not lying, since my conscience bears witness with me in holy spirit, 2 that I have great grief and unceasing pain in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were separated as the cursed one from the Christ in behalf of my brothers, my relatives according to the flesh, 4 who, as such, are Israelites, to whom belong the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the sacred service and the promises; 5 to whom the forefathers belong and from whom the Christ [sprang] according to the flesh: God, who is over all, [be] blessed forever. Amen. 6 However, it is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all who [spring] from Israel are really “Israel.” 7 Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children, but: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” 8 That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of
God, but the children by the promise are counted as the seed. 9. . .
Ephesians 4:23 speaks of the “token” of adoptive spirit
(Ephesians 4:23-24) . . .but that YOU should be made new in the force actuating YOUR mind, 24 and should put on the new personality which was created according to God’s will in true righteousness and loyalty.
John 5:19-24 lays out how you pass from death to life legally.
(John 5:19-24) . . .Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father has affection for the Son and shows him all the things he himself does, and he will show him works greater than these, in order that YOU may marvel. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes those alive whom he wants to. 22 For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son, 23 in order that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Most truly I say to YOU, He that hears my word and believes him that sent me has everlasting life, and he does not come into judgment but has passed over from death to life.
It really is that simple. But self control is not. It takes a sincere heart and the exercise of the token of adoptive force to make changes in you life.
Adam and Eve lost the frame of mind that allowed them to stay in the Garden.
(Genesis 3:23-24) 23 With that Jehovah God put him out of the garden of E′den to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken. 24 And so he drove the man out and posted at the east of the garden of E′den the cherubs and the flaming blade of a sword that was turning itself continually to guard the way to the tree of life.
Looking at this statement in Genesis we could reflect on the statement in the Bible we are God’s field under cultivation.
(1 Corinthians 3:5-9) 5 What, then, is A•pol′los? Yes, what is Paul? Ministers through whom YOU became believers, even as the Lord granted each one. 6 I planted, A•pol′los watered, but God kept making [it] grow; 7 so that neither is he that plants anything nor is he that waters, but God who makes [it] grow. 8 Now he that plants and he that waters are one, but each [person] will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers. YOU people are God’s field under cultivation, God’s building.
So by now I hope you understand that everything is about frame of mind. We take, UP, the UPward path gaining the awareness’s necessary to enter the narrow gate and return to the Garden. Adam and Eve were there, now we will return.
There and Back again.
There are many aspects to this journey. Anointing, inheriting a house to become a mansion, the resurrection process , the 144, 000 , who are to serve the great cloud of witness’s, the twinkling, and many others as you might now be able to see, of interest. We will write more soon.
It seems the pictures did not copy and paste, but I think you can still get the idea. If you wish to transfer this to somewhere else for easier reading I’ll send the descriptive pics to go with it.
I now have a pdf of our paper. By the way it’s adoption as the children of God, not sons;)
In case you didn’t realize, the word “mear” on your site is spelled incorrectly. I had similar issues on my website which hurt my credibility until someone pointed it out and I discovered some of the services like SpellHelper.com or SpellingCheck.com which help with these type of issues.
Thanks, Sarah where is this error located?
