He really gives a good explanation of this passage that tells us who Jesus really is. I hope you enjoy it!

Who is Jesus?
Sometimes we wonder how people get so mixed up in their attempts to explain the scriptures. Then we realize, once again, that with no overview/framework that works logically to put the information into, they are doing the best they can with an honest heart and the attempt. Whether we eat vegetables or meat we all see in a hazy outline.
We were involved in a couple of discussions lately that made us go back to a few old familiar scriptures, Revelation 1:7, Hebrews 1:3.
(Revelation 1:7) Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him. Yes, Amen.
In reality it reads much like this in the interlinear: Rev 1:7 every eye will see except those whose eye has been stabbed out, and they will stumble on the “stone of stumbling”.
Interlinear: (approximate original sentence structure) Look! He is coming with the clouds, and will see him every eye and whichever (ones) him stabbed out, (eye) and they will strike themselves upon him (stone of stumbling) all the tribes of the earth. Yes, amen.
Now we’re not sure how translators got so far off, they have the words, but trying to fit it into whatever their doctrine dictates must be the reason.
A little explanation here might help some. The “clouds” that Jesus is arriving in are those with clarifying realizations, called “the kingdom”. We of the earthly kingdom pray, “let your kingdom come”. Kingdom means range of influence. We of the kingdom see now in a hazy outline. But with “the token of adoptive spirit” and the last gift, the “spirit of understanding” poured out on us, we can use these new forces to see ever more clearly. Using this force actuating our mind’s eye, we ”see”. “let your kingdom come” covering distance towards God is dependant on God giving us this new force, that’s why we pray for these types of spirit to help us arrive at the realizations necessary to draw closer, so God’s will is understood on earth as it is in heaven.
At the “twinkling” we all receive our inheritance in full, a full complement of Holy Spirit/force and “every eye will see”, no more hazy outline, we “see”, Jesus arrives, simple. These ones of the kingdom that Jesus said will be “taken from you (old nation of Israel) and given to a new nation producing its fruits” were the “true Jews” Paul talked about who left or at that time were leaving the nation of Israel and now includes us.
(Hebrews 12:1, 2) . . .So, then, because we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us….
So why describe us as clouds? Again, we see in a “hazy outline” now but will “see” clearly when he arrives in our full awareness. Jesus as the new “god of the air” or new mental influence controlling our frame of mind will have “arrived”. This is contrasted to Satan the “god of the air” who is blinding the minds of the unbelievers.. So the process of making your mind over (2Co 4:4) draws you closer to God our Father through the insights of logic, “the way” Jesus revealed. We are in the process now of his arriving, one logical step after another. Having covered several steps and the realizations/stands they lead to we gain the increased mental capacity or ability talked about as a result of spirit. Doing this we walk in spirit with God. Another way of saying this is (John 4:23) . . .Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. …
The process of being made “in our image” is an on going process. This can be seen from the original words used that suggest uncompleted or on going, we won’t go in to that now.
(Genesis 1:26) . . .Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. . .
(Hebrews 12:1, 2) . . .So, then, because we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus. . . .
(Romans 12:1) . . .Consequently I entreat YOU by the compassions of God, brothers, to present YOUR bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God, a sacred service with YOUR power of reason. . .
(1 John 5:20) . . .But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one. And we are in union with the true one, by means of his Son Jesus Christ. . . .
This speaks about the spirit of adoption and the spirit of understanding.
(Proverbs 20:12) The hearing ear and the seeing eye—Jehovah himself has made even both of them.
(Philippians 1:8-11) . . .For God is my witness of how I am yearning for all of YOU in such tender affection as Christ Jesus has. 9 And this is what I continue praying, that YOUR love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment; (seeing and hearing) 10 that YOU may make sure of the more important things, so that YOU may be flawless and not be stumbling others up to the day of Christ, 11 and may be filled with righteous fruit, which is through Jesus Christ, to God’s glory and praise.
(Colossians 1:9-12) . . .That is also why we, from the day we heard [of it], have not ceased praying for YOU and asking that YOU may be filled with the accurate knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension, 10 in order to walk worthily of Jehovah to the end of fully pleasing [him] as YOU go on bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the accurate knowledge of God, 11 being made powerful with all power to the extent of his glorious might so as to endure fully and be long-suffering with joy, 12 thanking the Father who rendered YOU suitable for YOUR participation in the inheritance of the holy ones in the light.
So those whose eyes were stabbed out cannot see.
(Deuteronomy 29:4) . . .Jehovah has not given YOU a heart to know and eyes to see and ears to hear down to this day.
Nation of Israel and the remaining people standing against God blindly.
(Isaiah 6:10) Make the heart of this people unreceptive, and make their very ears unresponsive, and paste their very eyes together, that they may not see with their eyes and with their ears they may not hear, and that their own heart may not understand and that they may not actually turn back and get healing for themselves.”
(Mark 4:12) in order that, though looking, they may look and yet not see, and, though hearing, they may hear and yet not get the sense of it, nor ever turn back and forgiveness be given them.”
(Romans 11:8) just as it is written: “God has given them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes so as not to see and ears so as not to hear, down to this very day.”
(Ephesians 4:18) while they are in darkness mentally, and alienated from the life that belongs to God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the insensibility of their hearts.
JESUS THE ANGEL
(Hebrews 1:3) 3 He is the reflection of [his] glory and the exact representation of his very being,. . .
In the Interlinear or word for word, Hebrews 1:3 reads quite differently than the witness version and we assume most translations that have no working overview.
Hebrews 1:3 He is beaming forth the Glory and impressing the need for sub-standing God.
We like to say “under-standing because God took a stand for truth above and before us.
Now we see clearly how God’s son gains a distinction from his brothers, the other sons of God, the other angels.
(Hebrews 1:4) 4 So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.
So once the creations were put into the order that God his Father had determined, it is apparent that God’s son, who had been created and then given creative powers so that he operated in the form of a god, took on other duties as the “Word”, a messenger/angel. Jesus’ purpose was to draw attention to his Father and did nothing of his own initiative. So being an angel was just the nature of his being, and all else was circumstance on behalf of his Father or achievement. Really it is the empowering of those least among us that is the secret to the order of all connected to God. If you value those who are least you under-stand love.
(Hebrews 1:9) . . .That is why God, your God, anointed you with [the] oil of exultation more than your partners.. . .
Note PARTNERS, in Hebrews 1:9. Logically his son would have helpers as he was the master worker. The answering of the question logically dictates that only the two races can exist within the answering of the question of God’s sovereignty, as we saw with the flood and the half breed nephilim.
(Psalm 45:7) 7 You have loved righteousness and you hate wickedness. That is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your partners. . .
(Hebrews 1:4) 4 So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a NAME more excellent than theirs.
(Proverbs 8:30) . . .then I came to be beside him as a master worker. . .
(Hebrews 1:9) . . .That is why God, your God, anointed you with [the] oil of exultation more than your partners.. . .
(John 13:16-20) . . .Most truly I say to YOU, A slave is not greater than his master, nor is one that is sent forth greater than the one that sent him…. 20 Most truly I say to YOU, He that receives anyone I send receives me [also]. In turn he that receives me, receives [also] him that sent me.. . .
It is only because of the confusing attempt to work without a logical overview/framework that the “theory of the trinity” had a place to exist and has profoundly confused who God’s Son really is. As we see history recorded the “theory” as outside of the Bible, and gives its authors names, people seem to overlook that detail.
In conclusion we see that the Son of God was in fact an angel even though he holds a special place as the only one created by God his Father. We can extrapolate that it was not good for him to be alone, in like manner to Adam, and God had his Son create other helpers to work with him, other angels/messengers. Somehow people need the Bible to remain a mystery. But Jesus revealed its understanding to us in a straight forward “Way”. After exercising knowledge of him, faith, we receive the “spirit of adoption” and cross from death to life as Jesus also did. We then use this new force actuating our mind’s eye to progress step by logical step “UP” the path. After four or five steps and the realizations taken as stands, we have an increased mental capacity to understand, a clear view, as the Bible puts it.
(1 John 5:20) . . .But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one. And we are in union with the true one, by means of his Son Jesus Christ. . . .
(Colossians 3:10) . . .and clothe yourselves with the new [personality], which through accurate knowledge is being made new according to the image of the One who created it,
(Luke 24:45) . . .Then he opened up their minds fully to grasp the meaning of the Scriptures. . .
(Psalm 2:7) . . .Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah; He has said to me: “You are my Son (first created); I, today, I have become your father. . .
Jesus was born and adopted by Joseph, so legally God had to adopt him as his son “I, today, I have become your Father. (S)on of God, adopted son of Joseph, (s)on of God legally adopted from among mankind.
(Psalm 89:27) Also, I myself shall place him as firstborn, The most high of the kings of the earth.
(Mark 1:1) and a voice came out of the heavens: “You are my Son, the beloved; I have approved you.”
(John 1:14) So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father…
(Hebrews 1:5, 6) . . .For example, to which one of the angels/messengers did he ever say: “You are my Son; I, today, I have become your father”? And again: “I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son”? 6 But when he again brings his Firstborn into the inhabited earth, he says: “And let all God’s angels do obeisance to him.. . .
(Colossians 1:15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
We know that being made in God’s IMAGE is an on going process of enlightenment because the original words used to express it are used only related to something unfinished. In Jesus’ case, since he was God’s “S”on he retained his inheritance from his Father, a complete complement of Holy Spirit. This is why he did not sin, or “see” corruption.
Of course most of you will not have heard many of these things, having been forced by peer pressure to learn only doctrine that is fixed so control can be maintained in the congregation, or so doctrine is explained as a needed limit. But enlightenment is progressive, “UP” the path. Think about it, who stands before God? Only you, not those who want to take Jesus’ place and reveal the “present truth” to you. We do appreciate the help of those left trapped in doctrine and the divisions it creates, because they declare God and his son. As such they are all provisions that if we take a stand we out distance, helping us become no part of this world.
We hope the peace that excels all thought is with you.
Here is a thought.
No Founder of any religion ever said: “Follow Me”.
Buddha said: ” Follow these Sayings for Enlightenment.”
Islam means: “Submission to God”.
There are no prophecies in their “holy books” either.
Jesus said Follow Me. He is the only leader that died for his followers so they are released from the sting of death!
Death simply holds His followers but has no power over them. He promises to call and they will come out.
Like a bumblebee without a sting, there is no sting in death since Jesus’ victory over sin.
No other leader ever dealt with sin and death. They say God will, but Jesus dealt with both and inactivated the sting of death.
Everyone that He healed helped society, as He is a King. The beggar became productive, the blind man was no longer a burden to his parents.
The Kingdom encourages productivity.
Most religions encourage poverty. Sell books instead of working, get on welfare to sell magazines.
The Kingdom instead of a Religion, Jesus never spoke of religion, just the Kingdom. Interesting.
Just thinking out loud.
Has anybody seen the new NIV Bible without chapters and verses?
Also the books are in the order written also, I hear.
Job is the oldest book I think.
Revelation is best read without stopping at a chapter or verse. So will look for it.
Jacqueline,
The view is certainly an interesting one indeed, who is the author of the info? It must be based on the tradition of the “church” as Constantine actually decreed the 1st day, The Lords day as the day of rest and worship for the Christian and no longer should a Christian Judaize on The 7th day, they also declared Pentecost as being on the same day yet the Jews might disagree as the Torah gives the way to determine which day Shavuot AKA Pentecost was to be on.
Of course I have no issue with remembering the day Jesus was raised and agree it was on the 1st day of the week which happened to be first fruits the Holy day that preceded Pentecost.
Not wishing to be argumentative but It is good to have tradition of Hebrews, Gentiles and also Gods own Appointed times all in a scriptural perspective.
This was sent to me in an email. The discussion was actually about Witnesses, Seventh-day Adventists, and Mormons. The person wanted me to see why Sunday was chosen but failed to realize we aren’t seven-day Adventists.
But I felt it was another point of view on why Sunday is acceptable by most Christian religions.
With the witnesses their and the seventh-day having their own Bible and the witnesses having Memorial only once a year was also mentioned. I just decided to print excerpts from the email.
I personally worship him sort of the same way every day but on Sunday I can find more programs to listen to and join in on some good singing. It is a day that works for me to have discussions or visit a service.
“Why do Christians meet on Sunday”?Another viewpoint, enjoy
This is a very important aspect that is often overlooked about Jesus sojourn here on the earth. His death, yes, but the fact that he was RAISED was not focused on.
It was the resurrection day on which everything turned. Jesus might have lived the pure life he did, might have wrought all the miracles he did, might have died on the cross as he did, might have been buried as he was, yet all this would not have saved a soul if he had not risen from the dead. “If Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; you are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished” (1 Cor. 15:17, 18). The resurrection completed the work which made Jesus both Savior and Lord. Jesus himself, when asked for the evidence of his authority, pointed to his resurrection on the third day as the proof of it (John 2:18-21; Matt. 12:28-40; 16-21). Paul says that Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead” (Rom. 1:4). It was this that proved his divinity. It was this that converted his own brethren in the flesh. Prior to the resurrection “his brethren believed not on him.” That there will be a final day of judgment God “hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:31).
Christ only is our hope and salvation. Him the Jews rejected and put to death. To the third day he lay in the tomb, and the sorrowful disciples said, “We trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel” (Luke 24:21). With his death, all their hopes seem to have expired. All was lost. But on the third day after the crucifixion they heard of his resurrection. Mary saw the Lord and told the rest. Though their faith was weak, hope began to revive. In the evening they were drawn together in assembly. Behold, he appeared in their midst. So it is true the Lord has risen! His resurrection confounds the Jews who rejected and crucified him. The stone they had rejected suddenly triumphs and becomes the head of the corner. He in whom they had hoped and trusted for redemption has actually now “become their salvation.” “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” The great day of triumph, when Jesus rose from the dead, is “the day which the Lord hath made”; hence John rightly terms it the “Lord’s Day.” A day when all the Christian world from the resurrection to this time have been led to set apart for the assembling together in prayer and praise to God. “In it we will rejoice and be glad,” said the prophet. “We celebrate Sunday as a joyful day,” said Tertullian, one of the primitive church fathers. And so say the redeemed of the Lord generally.
As before observed, we keep days because of what occurred on them. Two of the mightiest events in the history of Christianity and the church occurred upon the first day of the week—Christ’s resurrection, and Pentecost. The great outpouring of the Holy Spirit as recorded in Acts 2, the dedication of the new covenant sanctuary—church—its complete organization as a distinct body, the marvelous conversion of three thousand souls, all took place on this day. Jesus had said that “repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” This great and ever-widening stream of salvation work destined to become “a great mountain and fill the whole earth,” and finally “cover the earth as the waters cover the sea,” had its “beginning at Jerusalem.” Pentecost was the fountain-head; and Pentecost was on the first day of the week. We humbly ask: How could it be otherwise that this day should become a memorial day to the Christian church? The Resurrection, Pentecost, and the first day of the week are always associated together in the Christian’s mind.
It is not the day but the events that occurred on the day that we Christians celebrate. One day is not a whit better than another. One day is no more holy than another. This we have abundantly proved. It is not Sunday, because it is Sunday, that we keep—it is the resurrection day, the Pentecostal day, and this occurred upon “the first day of the week”—Sunday. Had these events occurred upon Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or any other day, then that day would become memorial in the Christian’s mind. So our salvation does not depend upon monumental ordinances. But just as each first day of the week comes around to us in all parts of the world, we follow the apostolic examples of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord, and set apart the day for worship and spiritual devotion. We dispense with our temporal responsibilities and devote the day to the Lord, to his worship. Hence to us as well as to the early Christians it is the “Lord’s day.”
Thanks, Chris J… I forwarded your message to Jacqueline. We’re saddened about Sister Clanky’s passing. Our hearts and prayers go out for her family and friends. Again thanks for notifying us.
Wow, Henry thanks for telling me,and Christopher thank you for telling us. I called Marvie and she didn’t know. Also Br. Stanley Loper died. And this is a copy of the OBIT>
Here is the general progression of Stanley Loper’s passing. Br Stanley’s birth date – 4/28/56 – he was 63.
Sunday 11/24 – Stan went to ER with extremely high blood sugar and complaining of back pain. He was admitted and spent Sunday night in the CCU at the hospital in Brunswick;
Monday 11/25 – he was recovering well and was moved from CCU into a general hospital room;
Sometime Monday night he began acting weird, then was later found unconscious, and moved back to the CCU;
Tuesday 11/26 – early morning he began having respiratory issues and was put on a ventilator. Then his kidneys began to shut down and he was put on dialysis;
Wednesday 11/27 – it was determined he should be moved to Savannah’s St Joseph’s hospital due to severe blood clotting in his legs. Once in Savannah, they performed a Venogram as well as putting him on a “clotbuster” medicine, his blood pressure was very low;
What is a Venogram procedure? A venogram is an x-ray test that involves injecting contrast material into a vein to shows how blood flows through your veins. This allows a physician to determine the condition of your veins. An x-ray (radiograph) is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Thursday 11/28 – not much change in either direction;
Friday 11/29 – performed another Venogram, blood pressure began to improve, discussed possibility of amputation of legs;
Sat 11/30 – doctors were able to get a CT scan finally, learned that he was brain-dead due to lack of oxygen, we don’t know how;
CT scans are also referred to as Computerized Axial Tomography. CT (CAT) was developed independently by a British engineer named Sir Godfrey Hounsfield and Dr. Alan Cormack.
Sunday 12/1 – Stanley passed quietly at 4:20pm
Stanley’s Family has set up a “Go fund me” page.

Lee and Jacqueline,
I was just thinking about this subject a few days ago. I am in the middle of a paper for class, but I have some thoughts on the subject and would also like to reread what you and Lee where discussing on the subject. There is a lot to learn from God and Yeshua’s father and son relationship, so much so that I think that Satan has made it a personal goal to obfuscate the truth surrounding it. But the depth of love between these two distinctly separate entities formed the basis of what we have come to understand about the love between children and parents as well as Yeshua’s deep commitment to his father and to us as we are restored to our rightful position as God’s children.
Rene, sorry to take so long to reply. It has been a rough few days for me. Henry was monitoring the website for any important messages.
I spoke with Stanley’s daughter in law last night and got some closure. Stanley was an elder in his online group and arranged many online conventions. He studied the Hebrew language and was very well versed. He came to the fojw site when it first started and he was so upset, but with help he got on his feet and took off.
That is what we try to do not form a church group but help the person until they get strong then they form a small group and help others.
That way you have pockets of Christians in small groups which makes it better for really learning what is in the Bible.
When a group gets over 12 it becomes a matter of what one person says but small groups can have everyone comment many times.
Stanley will see us all on earth when Jesus returns and we will tell him the stir he created. I imagine there will be ones telling us about the stir we created when we passed. LOL
I learned that there is no such thing as what hope a person had as the only hope put forth in the Bible is Resurrection. That’s why Christians aren’t afraid of death because they have faith in the resurrection.
Jesus had to have that assured faith also and he must have screamed his words at:
Matt 28:17-19 “…17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,…”
HE WAS RESURRECTED, and so shall Clanky and Stanley.
And on the subject of Who is Jesus, who do they think resurrected him. He has a father, Matt 6 he said our father so it is the same father as mankind and we aren’t God. That would be billions of godheads. Just silly.
Jacqueline,
Just wanted to update you. Sister Clanky passed away this Monday morning. She fought cancer and finished her course.
Wow this is a long one!
I’ll give my take. Son of the Living God, exact representation of his very being, only begotten or birthed of Almighty God, as in Isaiah, Mighty God.. I agree with how you would describe it Jacqueline, the most reasonable explanation of who Yeshua is is a thought that I hear no one talk about. God would beget a god, Yeshua being the perfect reflection of his Father, he is a son, not The Almighty himself and since God is not an angel he is not himself an angel either but something greater. There is one Almighty and one only begotten son of the Almighty. Oh how simple if we just consider that all things reproduce after their own kind as it is Gods way since the beginning, so it is just a simple pattern as found throughout scripture that it would be the same with God. The beginning of the creation of God, not that he was created but that he was there in the beginning with God and was the firstborn of all things and of course it was by him and through him which all things were made. The birth of the light of the world, imagine what great power would come forth of such a birth, they talk about a Big Bang and poof all things are there, through Gods word no doubt yes poof all things are indeed there. It is certainly the most logical and reasonable explanation that takes only scripture without all the attempts of understanding the nature of God, that is in fact the whole unfortunate start of a doctrine that dilutes the very idea of who and what God is. He told us who he is and his son hast revealed him and let us know plainly who he is also yet so many want to change his words and add to it so that it sounds better to the ears of the rest. I have heard even that Yeshua is an attribute of God, uhhhh that is such an ugly thing, it is worse than saying he is only an angel.
Lee, I would like to add that angel is the type of work the spiritual being does. A messenger, like a man was sent to mow the lawn. He is a mower in that instance. God has many messengers, he also have Cherubim and Seraphim. Michael fights, Gabriel seems to take to Gods chosen ones to tell them. Angels fight also, one killed over 180,000 men in one night.
Notice Jesus is not called an angel but the WORD of God. Since in proverbs he indicates he was born as with labor pains by GOD then he would be a baby god. Humans have baby humans. Dogs have baby dogs.
In fact I love the way Jesus in proverbs 8 seem to talk about his youngness of enjoying the habitable parts of the earth.
I have a son that looks as if his father spit him out, he behaves like him, walks like him and a lot more.
Why the Clergy try to make it hard? Jesus said when you see me you have seen the father he reflects him like a mirror. Mirror image is not the person but a reflection thereof.
