Replacement theology
Only faith in Jesus has the power to save us.
Jesus Himself said that He is the only way to salvation (John 14:16). To leave out that fact is to weaken the concept of faith by implying that whatever you believe in is OK just as long as you have faith and act on it.
“Finally, without David, there would be no future Messiah, for it is through the line of David that a Messiah is promised (Jer. 23:5, 6; Rev. 22:16). Israelite history would need to be completely rewritten. Yet, that history, as it reads in Scripture, is precisely what gives Israel and the church its unique role and mission.”
This statement illustrates a profound confusion over the difference between the role of Israel and that of the Church. They each have their own unique role, and they are in no way the same thing. This confusion is actually a statement that comes out of the misguided idea called Replacement Theology—the idea that God has rejected Israel and transferred everything, at least the blessings of the old covenant, to the Church.
But a quick reading of Romans chapters 9–11 firmly shoots down that absurd idea. And an understanding of end times, along with understanding the purpose of the coming Tribulation, shows how the future of each is vastly different in God’s plans.
It’s obvious that you feel emotionally connected to the Nation of Israel. But you miss again and again that when the Bible talks about Israel it is not talking about the “Nation”. The “nation” did not constitute Israel. Being an Israelite was a Nationality, you are right.
(Matthew 21:43) . . .This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a NATION producing its fruits.
God’s “people” were not rejected or lost totally as Paul brings out because Jesus and Paul and many were saved by following the truth God revealed through his son , , leaving the blinding influence of the nation over them. Matthew 21:43 makes it clear without any doubt that the “Nation ” of “God’s people” was to be replaced as Jesus stated.
So every time you say “Israel”, think “God’s people” this will let you make some progress that has been escaping your efforts.
Everything in the Bible and reality is about frame of mind.
Once you realize Matthew 21:43 your mind is clear about the connection of mind and state. Mind sets your stand with God, for those of God’s people then, and God’s people now, us.
Love, the travelers
Travelers you say I haven’t progressed, my progress is on a level you would not understand or comprehend. You mentioned my emotions, you are right I side with God and His wife Israel. I have great respect and stand in awe of such a forgiving GOD. God is my judge and I will submit to him as regards his wife. Jehovah cannot lie.
Most Christians acceptthe Jewsdivine relationship with Jehovah but there is a segment of mankind that are anti-Semitic and with Islam believe the Jews do not have the right to exist. They hate the Jews.
Some anti-semitics hate them because they claim they killed Jesus.
But Jesus said in John 10:17-18 “17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
All mankind had to be saved and that means all of us caused him to have to lay down his life not just the Jews.
Gen. 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Amen and Amen
Zechariah 8:23 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you because we have heard that God is with you.’”
Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”
Read the account of OHOLA and OHOLibah. You might get the picture, of an adulterous wife being constantly forgiven by her husband.Ezekial 23.
Hosea chapter 2 talks about the wife of whoredom that he was to take and then keep forgiving her. That is a picture of what Jehovah will do for Israel. Read it.
Rom.11:25 “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,”
Micah 7 Chapter but particularly these verses.
“18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.”
Replacement Theology?statement put forward by Jesus not a \”theory\”
(Matthew 21:43) . . .This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits.
The nation or political organization over the ones who were really Jews, those under gods influence or kingdom, did great things no doubt. But they did terrible things also. They were always destined to be a temporary provision, the law sealed their fate. Jesus came to show a \”way\” out. The \”national organization\” because of past services was offered this \”way\”. The national organization, known to the world as Israel which of course it was not, was rejected by God, as it had rejected his son. The sheep knew their Shepherd\’s voice, on, and on, you know the scriptures, and followed the messiah out of the \”nation\” of Israel. In other words, Israel left the nation over them. Israel, the true Jews, no longer were Jews as they entered into the general congregation of their head Jesus.
The new congregation of footstep followers have no divisions within them, nether Jew nor…. The twelve tribes, Abraham\’s covenants, David\’s line of inheritance, and on and on only ever had to do with those of right frame of mind and heart known as the sons of Israel, the offspring of Abraham. All prophesy is and will be fulfilled in and on these footstep followers as they are known by our Father. So honor is due to these people and the new nation that they have over them. Be sure you under-stand our Father and his will as clearly stated by his son, our king, to set our feet on the straight and narrow path.
These facts seem lost on the \”Christian\” world at large, and certainly the world at large. The nation of Israel still serves as a provision like the rest of the governments of the world, put there for our benefit. But we are no part of the world.
There is really no argument to be made here because Jesus in his own statement set this straight while still on earth.
(Matthew 21:43) . . .This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits.
If Satan wanted to hide the true path, what better way than turning attention back to the physical “nation” that Jesus turned away from, after God rejected it.
As you said you learned the truth in the beginning, and Jesus also cannot lie. The replacement statement he made, using one line, needs no translation, and was exactly that, a statement of replacement.\”)
(Matthew 21:42) Jesus said to them: “Did YOU never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone that the builders rejected is the one that has become the chief cornerstone. From Jehovah this has come to be, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
(Matthew 21:43) . . .This is why I say to YOU, The kingdom of God will be taken from YOU and be given to a nation producing its fruits.
(Romans 9:6-8) However, it is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all who [spring] from Israel are really “Israel.” 7 Neither because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children, but: “What will be called ‘your seed’ will be through Isaac.” 8 That is, the children in the flesh are not really the children of God, . . .Scriptures, ‘The stone that the builders rejected is the one that has become the chief cornerstone. From Jehovah this has come to be, and it is marvelous in our eyes. . .
The world at large has served us and certainly the nation of Israel and those who call themselves Jews have aided us in many things. But the advancements in medicine and humanitarian efforts given to a dying world are just that efforts set in order by our father to help during our suffering and will not be needed or part of the order/world to come.
. . .
We see some good minds among the brothers and sisters here, but, with all love ,respect and affection we\’d suggest it would be to your advantage to step \”UP\”.
(John 8:39-47) . . .In answer they said to him: “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them: “If YOU are Abraham’s children, do the works of Abraham. 40 But now YOU are seeking to kill me, a man that has told YOU the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do this. 41 YOU do the works of YOUR father.” They said to him: “We were not born from fornication; we have one Father, God.” 42 Jesus said to them: “If God were YOUR Father, YOU would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. 43 Why is it YOU do not know what I am speaking? Because YOU cannot listen to my word. 44 YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]. 45 Because I, on the other hand, tell the truth, YOU do not believe me. 46 Who of YOU convicts me of sin? If I speak truth, why is it YOU do not believe me? 47 He that is from God listens to the sayings of God. This is why YOU do not listen, because YOU are not from God.”
(Revelation 2:9) . . .and the blasphemy by those who say they themselves are Jews, and yet they are not but are a synagogue of Satan. . .
Hello Traveler, thank you for commenting. There are no scriptures that say Israel was ever REPLACED! Rejected, yes.
“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” — God, Genesis 12:3, KJV. Jehovah cannot lie.
Paul dealt with this very confusion of early Christians and I choose to let the Bible speak and every man is proved a liar.
Fact: Israel is in abject rebellion against God at this time. Blindness has been imparted to them by God so that he and Jesus are glorified when he saves them at the Ezekial 38 war and at Megiddo or Harmageddon.
Fact: There is a profound confusion over the difference between the role of Israel and that of the Church. They each have their own unique role, and they are in no way the same thing. This confusion is actually a statement that comes out of the misguided idea called Replacement Theology—the idea that God has rejected Israel and transferred everything, at least the blessings of the old covenant, to the Church.
Today, 9/09/22. the nation of Israel is secular but has many believers in Christ living there. Yet it is obvious that there is a dome of protection over the actual nation of Israel. It is the GOD Jehovah that married Israel as a nation through a covenant that keeps her in existence. Video: http://askjacqueline.life/israel-exists-by-gods-grace-only-his-timetable
Jehovah has allowed Israel (the root) to be in blindness until the fullness of the Gentiles (the branches) comes in. We are near that time now.
Here is the scripture where Paul already dealt with REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY. Let Jehovah speak.
Israel’s Rejection Not Total. The is NO scripture saying Israel was ever RELACED!
Romans 11 chapter:
The Remnant of Israel
11 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me”[a]? 4 And what was God’s answer to him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”[b] 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6 And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes that could not see
and ears that could not hear,
to this very day.”[c]
9 And David says:
“May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent forever.”[d]
Ingrafted Branches
11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as first fruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
All Israel Will Be Saved
25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[e] all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is[f] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”[g]
28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
Doxology
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[i] knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”[j]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?”[k]
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
The history behind Replacement Theology. Great information!

The true apostasy of the early Church! It began early. I think it is understandable. The Apostles were all Jews, but after their death the majority of Church leaders were Gentile. In their love for Christ and human weakness they began to take on an air of superiority and a human tendency to place blame. Thus they began blaming the Jews for killing Christ. Early on they were persecuted and expelled from the Jewish
Synagogues by Jewish leaders. This attitude progressed to a hatred of the Jewish people who had no part of the Crucifixion of Christ. Remember, Christ himself condemned the Jewish leaders, he did not condemn the rank and file! Plain Scripture tells us that the Jewish people will accept Christ!
Satan hates the Jewish people! He expounds this hatred throughout the world! He promotes that antisemitism by inspiring this idea that the Jews killed Christ! Is that true?
Acts 4:27 27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.
No not just Jews! Plain Scripture tells us it was Herod, Pontius Pilate together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel represented by the Jewish religious leaders!
Please watch these two videos. It fully addresses this topic!
This is a concept that was adopted in the early part of the 20th century I never knew about it but I was taught that Jehovah’s witnesses were the Jews spoken of in the Bible when good things were said.
When bad things were said it was “Christendom” referring to other Christian religions outside of the witnesses.
It is a blessing to have learned this fact and corrected my thinking on this.
